“Awesome place and people,we will be back!”

The place and rooms are beautiful, clean and very relaxing. When we arrived there was a sign saying happy anniversary to my wife and I and there were 25 roses waiting in the room. Bruce prepared our anniversary dinner for us that was the most amazing dinner we have ever had! He is an amazing Chef!! Wendi and Bruce are very friendly people and catered to our every need ….We will be back!!

“We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and will definitely be back!”

Wendi & Bruce are friendly and attentive and the food was wonderful - hearty breakfast in the morning and cheese/fruit plate served with wine in the early evening. The inn has a beautiful setting and the rooms are very comfortable with a jacuzzi tub and a full shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and our wonderful anniversary dinner that Chef Bruce prepared and served to us outside on the patio. We would highly recommend this Bed and Breakfast to all!

Room Tip: Rooms were quiet and all had patios to the outside.

“We loved everything about the Black Bear Inn”

We were looking for a quick get-a-way to celebrate our 24th Wedding Anniversary and WOW, did we find the perfect spot! We loved everything about the Black Bear Inn from the minute we walked through the front door. Wendy took us on a tour of the property right away then showed us our room. We could see that the Monterey room was open and she offered to let us stay in which ever one we preferred. They even had chocolates with an anniversary card for us waiting in our room. Wendy made up a lovely plate of specialty cheeses and crackers paired with some wonderful wine, (my favorite was the blueberry and apricot goat cheese). They took care of our dinner reservations for us, although next time we’ll stay in and have Bruce do the cooking. I also LOVED that they let you choose what time you would like to eat breakfast, we decided to take advantage of their comfy beds and sleep in. We opened our door to delicious aromas that stirred our appetites and by the time we poured our coffee and sat down we were served a gorgeous display of fruit, with hickory smoked bacon, and French toast. It was absolutely wonderful. Everything about our stay was truly enjoyable! We plan on returning with several of our friends, maybe even take one of Bruce’s hands-on cooking classes! How fun would that be!
